I'd like to start with the delivered package! Simply amazing! All you could ever want in a box. The headphones, the audio cable, adapters, holding case, all in one place. The quality is also very good. The headphones build is fantastic, the combination of wood and metal looks, and feels premium.
And now, for the headphones. The fit is perfect for me, and although they're a bit hefty, I can wear them for hours at a time, without experiencing any inconvenience or fatigue. I'm using the SMSL RAW MD1 (DAC + Amp combo) to drive them. Using the 4.4 balanced cable I can say this : The sound is very warm, with emphasis on the low to mid range of the audio spectrum. The voices are clear, and the sound stage rather small, and very close, intimate even. That's something I like about them. I've always enjoyed a smaller soundstage rather than a large one. The thing that I somewhat dislike, is the lack of details in the upper region of the spectrum. Comparing them to the Hifiman products and the typical sound signature... Sivga headphones sound a bit grainy, with no clear separation of the instruments, in that audio range (upper mids to high). But for me, that's not a real deal breaker, as I find it very tiresome to listen to treble oriented songs, for a long period of time. I also think that with the right, more high end DAC, you could obtain a better sound from this headphones.
All in all, for me... They simply work. They're exactly what I expected and what I payed for. No compromise, no nonsense. 100% accurate description and sound.
I love them. I already started burning them in, and after a while, I'm sure they will sound even better.
